SKETCH

Robert spent copious amounts time drawing fiction. Combining elements of reality; A surrealist by nature. His residential typologies are not considered art, but simply work. These sketching resemble the profession practice of building; Architecture to Roberts architecture is considered something like art, but not art specifically; something different. Subscribing to the intention that Architects are not artist, they are Architects and some practice art. Robert's building sketches are a medium to move past the build up of unrelated ideas. The drawings are intuitive and from the first line to the last shadow, a clear direction is not pre conceived. These are the build up of thoughts from line to line. One more line drawn to simply see what happens to the image.
